Stringer is going to be huge. Stringer’s album“My Bad” starts strong and is consistently exceptional all the way through.

Stringer is going to be huge, they stand out among the ordinary. When mundane is the standard, Stringer rises above average expectations to become exceptional. Perhaps one of the best punk bands I’ve heard in years. Stringer brings everything great about late 80’s mid 90’s punk that helped shape a generation and brings it to new heights.  The track list is the right length, and nothing gets in your way of enjoying it. Swimming is my most favorite song on the album, the perfect camp fire punk song. It’s an excellent mellow ballad that anyone can listen to, and it’s relaxing on top of that. I’m also a fan of the song that follows, Dead Horse, it’s well constructed, and is sure to be a crowd pleaser.

The acoustics on the album are well recorded, nothing left out of place, and everything seems to fit. The whole album, from the Intro to Through The Walls and the rest of the tracks like Abergain and Flower Bomb give me hope for where the future of punk is going.  Perhaps the best part about “My Bad” as an album is that it starts strong with USA and Ghosts and ends strong with Termites…the album has consistency. Stringer is the shot in the arm this genre has needed, the rekindling of an idea. I hope they have more in store and am looking forward to it.
